“I get a text from Ryan McPartlin going, ‘Dude, I just got the last script. I’m in tears, man.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, was it good?’ He’s like, ‘I just looked at the title.’”— Joshua Gomez on who’s been crying around set [x] (via chuck-nerd)
With every choice you make, there are irreversible implications, and if your choices guide you down a path not suited to your play style, you will suffer for it.
It’s not simply a matter of adjusting the difficulty sliders in the game – the team went much further than that. Resource planning? If you’re to survive this mode, proper planning will be crucial. Combat specializations? You’ll need to develop them efficiently and effectively throughout the story; any weapon will be useless to you unless you have that specialization. Combat? Well, yes, there will be those, but according to Irrational Games Creative Director Ken Levine “there are game saves, and you’re gonna fucking need them.”
“I think it’s very friendly, me and the reader are old friends, and I take their hand and go ‘it’s all right, come with me, I know it’s scary but I’m here with you,’ and I lead them into the scary parts…and then I let go of their hand and run away.”—Neil Gaiman (via planb-becomeapirate)
Going on tumblr at stupid hours in the morning. Updating twitter as if you're famous. Lusting over men nearly double your age. Ending texts with the Voldemort laugh. Playing air guitar alone. Never wanting to get changed out of your pyjamas. Crying over fictional relationships that aren't actually specified in the stories. Drawing scars on your forehead whilst waving a carved twig around. Trying to deduce things but failing badly. Using 'fandoms', 'flails', 'reblog' and 'canon' in everyday context. Being grammatically correct. Saying 'Forever Alone' as a normal term. Wearing obscure fandom t-shirts. Eating chocolate and regretting nothing. Getting incredibly happy with two notes and new followers. And all the time we do this, we look for fucks and we find none. This is us.
